Statistics Don't Lie - More Women Leaders at the Top
Results in Higher Revenue and Profit

There is a competitive advantage to be gained by companies that increase the number of women in leadership roles. Supporting women towards career advancement is a savvy practice and, for public companies, should become an obligation to investors.

The consulting firm McKinsey found that the operational profit of companies with the most women on boards was 56% higher than those with men only at the top level. That is not all. Boards with more women surpass all-male boards in auditing, risk oversight and control.

According to Gallup research, less than a third of Americans (29%) are engaged in their work. That leaves almost three quarters who are not engaged (52%) or actively disengaged (19%). Engaged employees are “enthusiastic about their work and contributing to their organizations in a positive manner".  If that describes you, or your employees, it's time to make some changes.

Employee attrition is tremendously costly both tangibly and intangibly.  What are you doing as an employer to attract and retain the best employees?  And what investments are you making as an individual to increase your job satisfaction and promotability?

Women are key to the success of business both in the United States and Globally.  Isn't it time to start addressing the underlying reasons why women are being overlooked for promotions and do not hold their fair share of top level positions?

72,000,000 women work in the USA and only 735 hold executive positions in the Fortune 500.

Men and women view business and how both genders act in the workplace so differently, and understanding those differences has allowed me to improve my relationships with my direct reports and colleagues who are mostly women, and manage projects which rely on strong cross-functional efforts more effectively and efficiently.  Being able to anticipate and structure communication to reach an audience of both men and women in a way that takes into account how it probably will be received and interpreted has helped me save valuable time and created stronger teamwork, commitment, and accountability.

Laura's classes have provided insights I have never heard before in any business related training or coaching, and I highly recommend her programs and classes. The teachings in these courses overlay and integrate with traditional management and leadership training to include understanding gender nuances to fine tune your approach and have the highest probability of success.
